ICP Level One

Getting Started
The sooner you get your manual the sooner you can start studying.
Once we get a $100AUD deposit, we will send you the manual.
The Program format generallly consists of a briefing and introduction on the Friday evening.
A 12 hour teaching session on the Saturday (including a 2 hour lunch-break in the middle of the day), this is where we teach you how to be an instructor and work on your skating skills.
Finally a 10 hour Exam session and Graduation on the Sunday (also with lunch adjournment).
2008 will be slightly different, featuring a more spread out program of weekend day times and some weeknight evenings.
Brief Outline:-
You will need 480 out of a possible 600 to pass the Level One ICP.
The Points breakdown is as follows, 200 skating skills, 100 written test, 300 teaching exam.
Of the skating skills there are 8 compulsory skills and 12 optional skills earning the remainder of the points out of 200.
The 8 compulsory skills are; heelbrake, stride 1, a-frame turn, stride 2, grass-stop, parallel turn, spin-stop and swizzle.
The optional skills include t-stop, powerslide, backwards swizzle, backwards movement, crossovers and a few others.

ICP Level Two
Getting Started
Once again we require a $100AUD deposit.
The Level Two Program follows the same format as the Lvel One Program, however the emphasis is on refining your teaching skills and working heavily on identifying problems in technique and how to correct them as well as working on more advanced skating skills.
Brief Outline:-
You will need 480 out of a possible 600 to pass the Level Two ICP.
The Points breakdown is as follows, 200 skating skills, 50 written test, 350 teaching exam.
Of the skating skills there are 14 compulsory skills and 9 optional skills earning the remainder of the points out of 200.
The 14 compulsory skills are; Backwards Swizzle, Forward Crossovers, Backwards Movement, Slalom Turn, Lunge Turn, T-Stop, Stride 3, Forward to Backward & Backward to Forward Transitions, Mohawks, Heel-Stop 2, Lunge Stop, Back Power Slide & Smart Street Skating..
The optional skills include 3-turns, backward slalom turns, 180 jump turns, backwards crossovers and a few others.
