King and Queen of the Mountain

Hills are tough .
Hills are challenging.
Hills can be beaten .

Be a part of an exciting event that is poised to become an annual tradition, the King and Queen of the Mountain!

5 hills in one day, 3 short distance sprints and 2 medium length climbs and you'll have made a difference. Not just to your fitness, but to children all over the world thanks to UNICEF.

Be a participant and wear your shirt with pride as a finisher of the KoM, or choose to be competitive and lay down your best time for a shot at the prize money.

Make some great friends and help raise money for UNICEF by being a part of a truly unique event.

Volunteers are also welcome to assist in the marshalling of the event. We love volunteers :)

How fit do I have to be to participate in the King and Queen of the Mountain?

Fitness is no limiting factor to participation as long as you can skate safely, ie skate, stop and turn.

If you want to be competitive then some fitness training is recommended.

All participants and competitors will need to demonstrate safe skating ability before being allowed to take part in the event.
